I always find myself joking around about having different personalities, but in all actuality I do. A lot of people know me as quiet woman, for the most part but there is a completely different side to me that a lot of my associates will never see. Let me tell you about the other me. I am extremely silly and love to play all day if I could. I am extremely deep into poetry and many other arts. I am a super nerd I absorb almost all information that is brought to my attention. I love to flex the ability of my mind, I feel as though is my best feature. Most people that get to know me, like the real me always say they never had a clue of how smart I was.

I am extremely silly i will literally play all day long if  I could. I find myself in predicaments where everyone is being serious and I will be laughing or still smiling. I find humor in almost everything. If you are having a bad day I will definitely change your mood. I don’t do it on purpose it’s just a part of my personality. I hold no shame, I rarely become discouraged. My mother raised me to always see the greatest part of a situation rather than the worst. I practice this everyday, I am not so much of a peoples person I always find myself separating from crowds. I’ve always been the one to do things differently and end up with the best result. There was this one day in particular, we were hosting a family gathering and my mother was complaining about everyone playing in her flowers, she was really upset about it. I couldn’t help but laugh, the situation was not the funny part but because of my personality I was humored by it. This is just one example of me being silly, even when the time was wrong.

 

I am into all kinds of arts. from music, paintings, poetry, and dance. I am infatuated with art of all kinds. I also find art in everything through the day. I always find myself staring at the sky finding images in the clouds. Often I randomly sing or spit poetry. I’ve attended millions of poetry slams and talent shows. I just love being around art, its a just a vibe. I find art in things most people would over look. I read and watch others do poetry all of time. I listen to all kinds of music, from hip-hop, pop, R&B, rock, reggae, and many more. I love going to art museums, well any museum actually. I find art so interesting. I love the creativity behind the art it gives you a chance to get to know a persons mind with out knowing the person at all. Art supports emotional intelligence, art also boosts self esteem, provides a sense of accomplishment. Viewing art increases empathy, tolerance, and feelings of love.

 

I love to flex my minds ability. I am an extreme nerd I love everything intellectual. I am into all kinds of theories, and history. i found myself looking into Egyptology, African American history, and religion. I rarely talk about religion because I know that is a soft spot for everyone. I pride myself on being smart, I love feeling like the smartest person in the room especially if the correct questions are asked. I know my intelligence is intimidating to most people so I give fair warnings before discussing certain subjects. I love to read books, I feel as though I am a mastermind some times. I can hold very interesting conversations. I refer to myself as a nerd in the best way possible. I am into learning about the possibilities of alien life form on and off of the planet. At one point in time i was completely infatuated with the flat earth theory. I did so much research to prove that this is in fact a plane and not a planet. I will argue you down. I include this skill into the other me because this is not the first impression that I want someone to have of me. I like to use that as a secret weapon, in mid conversation just burst out with a large amount of information leaving the other person completely stun.

 

 

 

I consider these to contribute to the other me because these are traits that doesn’t meet the eye. I love to be a mystery. You have to literally sit and converse with me to know who I really am. This also stops a lot of fakes from being able to take up my time. Unknowingly, or mistakenly will over look me. I am extremely silly, and I am totally into all kinds of art. Lastly I love to flex my minds ability. I really enjoy feeling as if i am the smartest person in the room.

 

One may ask what effects does an absent father have on his daughter? A lot of women call this “daddy issues” and it often appears in music, television, and in movies. Let me give you a few effects, a fathers love is the foundation to the love she’s going to expect in the future. He sets the first impression he gives her insight on what she should accept and should not accept. Finally the effect of an absent father has completely different effects on the women. These women struggle at choosing men that are any good for them, in most cases women even end up blaming themselves for the misfortune when it comes to love.

 

A fathers love ? Yes a fathers love is the foundation of a woman’s out look on the love she’ll eventually eventually attract. A woman holds on to all things good and bad even though the bad memories will haunt her, she still holds an extensive memory. So present or absent her fathers behaviors will impact how she looks at love and what she’ll eventually attract. Let’s say a woman grows up in a two parent home with a very loving and caring father, she will more than likely end up in a loving relationship with and loving family as well. Now absent fathers or bad fathers leave most women with the “daddy issue effect and that’s when she almost accepts anything just be loved. The “Daddy’s Girl” has effected the women with absent fathers, every girl wants to be a daddy’s girl.

It is a fathers job to set the first impression of what a man should be for his daughter. This only means what he does is very important if he actually sticks around. A fathers love is the love a woman always reflect on. In often situations women find it quite difficult to make the right decisions when it comes to choosing mean. Most time absent fathers or fathers who’s left traumatizing effects on his daughter leaves those women feeling really indecisive. Lets say for example a woman grows up with a father figure who was a great influence. This father in particular set the absolute best first impression. He is also the man who taught his daughter the necessary lessons. This woman will turn out just fine, more than likely marry a man that loves her just as much or even more than her dad did. On the other hand let’s take for example a father who had damaging effects on his daughter or other women surrounding his daughter. This woman will end up fitting into the ” Daddy’s issues” category, she will be very indecisive, these women often carry themselves differently. In most situations you’ll find these women with horrible men. These women struggle in making the right decision often ending up in abusive relationships physical, mental, and verbal. Some situations involve more than just one type of abuse, these woman are mislead they often gravitate to the energy their abusive fathers gave out.

 

There are plenty of women out here that actually blames themselves for the misfortune when it comes to love. They’ve found themselves in so many abusive relationships, and eventually taken on the responsibility of why it never lasts or why the man is abusive towards her. She plays this role well, this role is completed with sympathy parties. These women carry themselves different. This is in the absent father category. Women who grew up in fatherless homes are the worst they have no sense of what’s too good or what’s too bad. She often finds herself feeling extremely numb. She feels no sense of belonging, men come and goes, but this doesn’t bother her much. There are other effects that absent fathers have on women, women ends up looking for “daddies” in the men she gets intimate with. She’ll expect him to take on roles that he doesn’t have to. She’ll end up

 

What causes schools to fail at educating students ? Some may blame it on the lack of enthusiasm towards  curriculum. Now a days school is literally just a place you have no choice to go to especially for younger students. Lastly, teachers do not teach for the love of teaching anymore, when students fall behind they are left behind in most cases. Over the years Chicago holds a 78% graduation rate, only proving that the system in fact allows some students to fall through.

 

The lack of enthusiasm towards the curriculum plays a very crucial role in how schools fail at educating students. Let’s begin with how well the teacher captures the attention of the students that she teaches. Most of the time teachers are in the class room physically but are absent mentally. Students may pick up on this vibe a feed off of that energy. This will eventually cause most students not to care about school and sooner than later drop out of school. Chicago’s drop out rate has in creased by 21% in the last 5 years only proving that the system fails at educating.

 

Sadly, schools are just places children, preteens, and teenagers have to go everyday. Most high school students nick names school “prison” only indicating that they are present by force. Don’t get me wrong there is a lot of positive things about not having a choice, but most student rebel when it comes to having to go to school. On the south side of Chicago school is considered a hang out spot. In most cases students will arrive to school  and ditch every class and roam the hallways. The system fails at educating student by almost allowing the students to roam. There are procedures in place that are supposed to help but in most cases students still avoid the tactics. This only proves students only see school as a obligation over priority.

Final but not least, Teachers, educators, instructors what ever you’d like to call them just flat out do not teach for the love of teaching anymore. Over the years teachers suddenly lost the love for educating. In one case I actually heard a teacher tell the class she’s only there for a pay check you either get it or you don’t. That literally shock me to hear considering you are educating students to help shape their future. The impact that just those words will prove that the school fail at educating because they are only there for a pay check.

Wrapping this up, I say that the schools fail at educationg students by not having enough enthusiasm when it comes to the curriculum, students feel as though school is just a place they have to go, and teachers do not teach for the love of educating anymore.

How does a neighborhood contribute to the person you are? let me give you a few examples of how my neighborhood contributes to shaping the person that I am. I consider myself to be extremely humble, this directly has ties to my neighborhood because of the circumstances and challenges that are faced every day. Another way my neighborhood contributes to the person I am is through the nurture that i received.  Depending on where you are raised you develop a set of instincts or skills that may be  particular to your demographic area.

 

Let me start off by saying, the neighborhood that I was raised in wasn’t that bad of an area for me personally. I believe that your surroundings play into the kind of person you are. With that being said I consider myself to be extremely humble because of where I was raised. Throughout elementary school I was supervised by not just my parents but the whole community. Everyone had their differences but when it came down to the children everyone was available to lend a helping hand. This means I was raised in a close community where all of my actions had reactions and everyone was watching. What directly makes me humble in connections to my neighborhood is watching everyone struggle, even though we weren’t the poorest but we weren’t the wealthiest. Until this day I am still very humble and grateful.

The Amount of nurture that I received from my neighborhood contributed to the person I am today in various ways. Growing up when it was time to hang out with friends my mother would have to know their parents before I was allowed to do anything. With that kind of structure I turned out pretty well rounded and respected. the amount of love was important because I never found myself in a predicament where I actually seek love. I’ve always had it, I’ve never had to question it. That nurture also gave me a sense of belonging so I never felt like i had to do a lot to fit in else where.

I also adopted certain instinct due to the area that I grew up in. Living on the south side of Chicago there are particular things you learn not to do. For example most south side Chicagoan will warn you to check behind you while walking, it doesn’t matter what time of day, always check your surroundings. I also learned not to always judge too quickly most things aren’t  what they seem to be. I was raised to mind my own business at all times. My community showed me first hand not to trust anything to quickly.

 

So with that being said my community has shaped the kind of person I in three specific ways that I’ve nicely explained. My community has helped me become extremely humble. We weren’t the poorest but we weren’t the richest either. My personality was also shaped by the nurture that I received from neighbors and family, I consider myself to be a great person due to how much nurture and love I’ve received.  I also adopted certain instincts that helps me look out for myself.

 

Ever wonder what makes classes at east west university different ? Well I’m going to give you a couple examples comparing two of east west very own classes. Mr. Murray’s rhetoric and style classes is comepletely different than Mr. Lee’s Computer technology class. Even though both teachers are great at their jobs they are certain things that they do differently.

 

Lets begin with Mr. Lee’s computer technology. Everyone who has ever taken Mr. Lee’s computer technology class will be the first to tell you that Mr. Lee doesn’t fluently speak English. At times it makes class kind of difficult but he personally comes around to help out. On the other hand Mr. Murray fluently speaks English. He projects his voice to heard through out the class. Mr. Murray does not have to come around and personally help everyone because most people understood it the first time the assignment was explained.

 

Movng along, Mr. Lee’s class is located in a computer lab and all of our work is turned in on the computer via email. On the other hand in Mr. Murray’s he lectures, we take notes, and then we have to complete our assignments on WordPress.com. This makes both classes significantly different considering in one class we are learning programs on the computer and in the other we take notes and write papers. Both teachers have completely different teaching styles

So I want to leave this by saying both teachers are great teacher just different teaching styles. Mr. Murray lectures and then assign work to do, and Mr. Lee on the other hand class assignments are hands on and he personally helps students who do not understand.

At East west university there are a lot of different classes that are offered to you. Depending on your major you will find yourself in a group of classes that will eventually help you take steps towards your career. Today I will be comparing two of the classes that I take up at East west university. First and foremost i have this great class called Rhetoric and style, and the other class is Computer technology.  The two classes are completely different but also so much alike.

 

Rhetoric and style is one of my favorite classes because the teacher Mr. Murray is great at explaining new concepts. In the Rhetoric and style class we’d usually meet in the class room depending on what the agenda is we’d either go to the computer lab or stay in class and takes notes. Rhetoric and style is usually pretty excited considering all of the different things discuss and have to write about. If you are really into writing you’d like this class as well. rhetoric and style teaches the basics of writing, basically like a refresher, just reminding students how papers are supposed to be formed in the simplest form. Mr.Murray assigns very interesting things to write about and provides this basic knowledge to ensure that we could successfully write papers on our grade level.

Computer Technology class is Mr.Lee’s class. This class is pretty chill for the most part. we meet in the computer lab and all of our assignments are completed on the computer. We work on Micro-soft word and excel. We recreate assignments in the book. Mr. lee is also a great teacher he tries his best to make sure every student is on track with the assignment. When class begin Mr.Lee starts the class off with explaining how to do the assignment and we just work along with him. Once he is finished explaining he walks around to check on everyone progress on the assignment. Mr. Lee is doesn’t speak clear English some times it is hard to understand the things that he says. Over all he is very great teacher as well

 

In conclusion, Rhetoric and Style and Computer Technology is a lot alike due to the dedication of both teachers. They both make sure students are on track and that they understand the concepts. they are also very different due to what the classes actually teaches. Both of the classes are found in East west university.

Chicago is considered to be one of the best cities in america. Due to its sports teams, great foods, and tourist attraction. A lot of people dream of being here. Let me be the first to tell you that Chicago is not what its hyped up to be. The first reason why Chicago is considered to be a bad city is due to its very high crime rate. Chicago also experience extreme cold and hot weather. lastly Chicago’s police department is very corrupt.

Let’s begin with the crime rate in Chicago. Chicago has a very bad and long history of violence. Down to the drugs, murders, rape cases, muggings, robberies, gun violence, assaults, and human trafficking chicago holds some of the most Horrifying stories. Depending on the area you choose to live in there are always things to look out for in Chicago. There is no where in Chicago that could be considered as a safe zone. Chicagoans will warn you  to always look over your shoulder while walking. It’s a gamble every time you decided to leave out of the comfort of your home and in most cases inside of your hone as well. These are just some of the things that makes Chicago one of the worst cities to live in.

 

Chicago could be either extremely hot or extremely cold. The hottest weather Chicago experienced was 109 degrees July 24th 1934. That’s really hot if you ask me Chicago’s summer days are filled with sweaty brows and under arms. Most people have a hard time staying cool and in some cases that cause health issues. Chicago is also known for its extremely brutal winds and in the winter season that very wind will tear you apart if you are not dressed appropriately.  Chicago’s coldest temperature was a -27 degrees January 20th 1985. This extreme cold can also cause health issues as well.

Lastly Chicago’s Police Department is very corrupt. Chicago is known for very malicious police officers and in most cases they end up with blood on their hands. Chicago police officers are known for planting drugs and weapons on innocent citizens just to meet their quotas. Some if Chicago’s policemen and/or policewomen are very racist and will hold you up just because of the color of your skin or because of the area you are in.

Chicago is an extremely popular to tour. What makes Chicago so popular, for beginners Chicago is home to some of the delicious  restaurants ever, Chicago is Also home to many sports teams that are champions, and lastly the many different tourist attractions.

For beginners, Chicago is home to some of the most delicious restaurants ever. In Chicago you could literally find any type of for you could possibly think of. We have Mexican styled foods which consists of tacos,   enchiladas, burritos, and many more. We also have Chinese styled foods which consists of delicious stir fried rice, egg fu yung, egg rolls, and many more. Chicago is also known for its Italian styled foods with a chicagoan twist to it and that menu consists of Italians beets, pizza/pasta, and gyros with other Italian foods that follow. This is just one of the reasons Chicago is the best city. 

 

Moving along, Chicago is home to a bunch of great sports teams. Every Chicago team has been champions at least once in history. For example, the Chicago bears won their last game in 1985, the Chicago bulls won their last championship in 1998, and the Chicago black hawks won their last championship in 2015. This is just one of the many reasons why Chicago is the best city. 

Lastly Chicago is one of the best cities because of all of our very nice tourist attractions. Chicago is known 3 of the best tourist attractions in which consist of navy pier. Navy pier is known for its boat rides and Ferris wheel and other exciting things to do. Chicago is Also known for Millennium park which is hoe to the bean people come from all over the world to see it. Finally Chicago is known for the Willis tower originally being named the Willis tower is a tour attraction because of its height and the glass sky deck that allows you to see all of Chicago from above.

 

Entering the room looking at the left hand side of the room there is three black medium sized clothes bins against the wall. Continuing to look to the left hand size of the room there is a vanity dresser set completed with a mirror. The dresser is sectioned off by three. The three sections consist of cosmetic products such as makeup, hygiene product, and hair products. Moving along the left size of the room you’d run in the a closet with two doors. Opening the doors you’d find a very organized display of jackets, coats, sweaters, and shirts neatly placed. Continuing to look around there is a black furry rug in the center of the room and a white furry abdomen next to it, and a huge pink, purple, and green teddy bear. Then you’ll see a bed in a black leather bed frame completed with a back bored. The sheets are blue and the comforter is black and white. The bed also has about 9 pillows on it. There is one big shiny one, two smaller shiny ones, two fury ones, two regular black and white ones that matches the comforter set, and two that says ‘good at naps’. Now on the right hand corner of the room you’d see a piano sitting on a piano stand. Next to is a speaker that lights up red,blue, and green.

The student is about 5’5. The student is also brown skin and quiet, this student in particular doesn’t feel the need to communicate if the subject isn’t school related. This student enjoys music and various forms of art. She is extremely talented and enjoys performing with close relatives and friends. She is known for dancing, singing, writing short stories, poems, and music. She moves swiftly through the world and universe with her head held high. She isn’t afraid of anything. she is very smart and can talk your ears away with the spark of the right subject. This student is very witty and carries and old soul that she actually realized she had a while ago. This student is not perfect she lacks in areas that are some what important. She has a very bright smile and wears makeup, but not because she needs it but because she enjoys the art of it. She changes her hair frequently because she doesn’t like looking the same.
